hi all.

i'm currently searching high and low for a certain type of slab. i've found some possibilities, but often finding a supplier can be a whole other problem - and also many will only sell those blasted and annoyingly creativity-restricting project packs of most slabs.

what i'm looking for is a dark black paving slab of size 600x300mm (or thereabouts), with very smooth surface and solid edges that are straight / sawn. slabs that do not vary in thickness would also be better. we need a quantity of just 16 of these.

three slabs which look particularly good are MST Landscape's "Kotah Black", and Stonemarket's "Avant Garde - Ebony" and "Trustone Torvale". those have the kind of look we're after, although with the Kotah Black the edges are not sawn and this is not preferred.

i'm taking a shot here in case anyone knows of a suitable product, and supplier who should have them. i'm located in Romford (Greater London / Essex area).

thanks for any help!

dunno about suppliers but be aware that these "black" flags tend to fade to grey after a bit

What about a black-ish granite? Have you tried CED? I'm sure they have a very dark charcoal granite, either sawn or flamed, that would be far superior to the barious limestones.
