Does any one no of any training courses or literature on how to install and repair natural stone flooring?? For both new and reclaimed stone. Cheers.

either or which ever is better or what suits the requirement

It's two different disciplines. Tiles tend to be laid by flooring companies and I'm fairly sure there is a training course for floor tiling at a number of local colleges. Flag laying is normally left to flaggers, and there is no directly relevant course.
The nearest course would be "modular paving" but that concentrates on streetworks and it's damned hard to find a venue. Of course, the hard landscape training group should be providing just this type of course, but as they've decided to sub-contract all their training to retired bricklayers in SE England, there's no chance of it ever happening.

thanks for that. Are you still looking a doing your own training in the north west Tony, or has that been shelved now??

Not shelved at all: I'm running some courses over the next couple of months. I have three courses on permeable paving booked by private organisations, and I'm looking to run a patio flagstone masterclass sometime before Easter somewhere in NW England. As soon as i get the date and venue confirmed, I'll publish details here.
