Hello

I have long been a lurker on this forum and thought its about time that I registered!

I have a number of broken ABS paving moulds, mainly side splits and corners. Instead of buying new, I wondered if there was anything on the market which can be used to repair.

All information grately received.

As far as I know you would have to get your hands on a particular welding gun that fuses/melts the split, I've seen it used on polyprop (I think) pipe jointing - you would need to repair quite a few to warrant the cost. If there is a glue that works its going to be a speciality type, if you are trying to save money experiment. I've also repaired minor blemishes with a heated poker. With the moulds so reasonable in cost - I use Harristone (Brilliant) - buy new - carefully looked after they last 4 years and longer. Also you can rigidise your moulds by placing them in custom made wooden trays, saves big bucks in the long run.
