I've seen these beautiful looking flags on a website, and am curious as to what they are. I can't trace them via the website. They look like sandstone to me, but more constant in colour than anything else I've seen.
Needle in a haystack - but hopefully someone out there recognises them...

I wonder if this is them again - these look a good 40mm thick to me so can't be Stonemarket Horizon.

thanks for looking!

i'll name that flag in 4!
in the second images when you clicked on the 4 different views the colour was completely different in no.s 1 and 4
can you not ask the website people what flags they are?
6 sided sawn for sure

pop into your local travis perkins and grab a copy of the landscaping catalogue there is somehting similar in there, we were looking at it on our lunch the other day and commented on how nice the thick 6 sawn sided sandstone flags were. if i remember though they were something silly like £70/m. i'll have a look tomorrow its in my truck and see if i can get a name.

Looks like sawn yorkstone to me, David. Very popular in town centres for the wealthier councils. They're not colour consistent but the are calibrated. GB is right about the price, too.

Thank you all very much. I did try to find out via the web sites buy as yet haven't heard back. If it is the £70 a meter stuff I'd better give up my ideas of grandeur and go back to Indian sandstone! It would be great though if you can get back to me with your findings though Mr GB Groundworks - I've taken a look at Travis Perkins' website but no pictures.
Thanks again.

Thanks - the Marshalls stone is nice stuff. The first website did come back to me and thought the stone was probably this - from Yorkshire, as Richard said, although they are not sure as it looks so much lighter in the photo. Anyway, price, £55 + VAT and delivery. Oh no.
