Hi All
I have a small yard bricked walled on all sides, in my new house which has very basic concrete slabs. It looks pretty dull so I am looking to jazz it up but cheaply.
After reading some of the forums, I understand that laying gravel directly on top of these concrete slabs is probably not a good idea ( hard on hard etc).
However I had a thought, would laying a rubber mat like this(rubber mat stuff) on top of the slabs and then laying the gravel on top of this be a good way of fixing the problem and lessening the possibility of skidding, balding and rolling stones.
Any ideas? Or anybody done anything similar?
Cheers
Steve
