After spending a lot of time digging up my garden, installing land drains preparing the area ready to install my sandstone patio i am now ready to start,

Question is because i am going to have a sandstone circle in the centre, do i lay the circle first and work outwards? or is there a prefered method were you would install from the edges in?

My senses tells me to work from the center outwards what do you think??

Yes, centre first. Then position the first ring to get the gaps right. It helps to have a big folding square to get the quadrants even as well.

Thanks Rich,

I have bought a circle that includes a squaring off kit, so hopefully it won't be to painfull to install, watch out for the photo's when all finished!!

Good luck. Some are better than others! It's best to lay it out first to get a picture in your mind of the joint sizes.
