Hi All,

I have to raise the level of a patio by 260mm before I can pave on top of it. Two questions really,

1. is it okay to use breeze blocks to build the retaining wall - fronted with stone
2. what is the best way to fill in the space? Would you recommend layers of compacted MOT?

I will have to bridge the damp proof course which is staggered so I was planning to canterleaver the slabs near the house to create an air void as per the main site suggests. Are there any other better ways??

Thanks for your help in advance. I love this site.
