Hello, Im laying an area of 18 foot across the rear of my house and 10 foot away from the back of the house the part of the area at the back door is concrete path which runs across the house 18 foot and the remaining area is soil dug out and 6-8 inchs of hardcore.my questions are what problems may i face with the concrete pathway and the hardcore base area. also now that ive set down the hardcore do i put a layer of sand over this before i start to lay my flags which i will be laying in wet motar as im laying the flags down. if so do i mix the sand and cement in a dry or damp mix and lay my mortar bed on top of this ? likewise do i do the same with the concrete path or just put a motar bed striaght onto the concrete path and lay away.....also one last one do i really need to compact the hardcore as ive no side passage to my house so i'd have to drag the wacker in through my house ? thanks in advance for any advice

Sorry for the short answer but all the long answers are on the main site.

Yes correct but there is no tread that explains or mentions paving over concrete and hardcore at the same time giving you two types of sub base on one project ?

As long as your hardcore sub-base is well prepared and compacted 'to submission', you shouldn't have a problem.

You shouldn't be looking for "treads" ( I assume you meant 'threads') in the Brew Cabin, but for the comprehensive information provided on the main website, where all of your questions are addressed.
