Looking at putting down a single row of slabs at the bottom of my decking steps. ie these will butt up to the lawn but rather than stepping straight on to grass, one would step on to theses slabs first. Also thinking of using them as a border for flower beds. This should make cutting lawn that much easier. Slabs 600 wide by 300 deep.
Just really want to know how best to prepare the ground. Most likely going to be Indian Sandstone or similar so assume a mortar bed but what underneath?
