Gravel on a sloping driveway?

Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

We have a sloping driveway which I would like a natural stone finish (Cornish granite or similar), is there a limit to the slope on which I can do this? We have 120m2 and a minimal budget.

Any help would be gratefully appreciated,

Simon

Loose gravel and gradients do not go well together. The gravel will migrate downhill.

The type and size of gravel affects how quickly the migration occurs, but if the gradient is greater than 1:20, I'd forget it.
