As the majority of my gardening business is on the soft landscaping side and it's been a while since I've completed any larger scale paving jobs could anyone give me their rough thoughts on how long it would take to lay approx 100m2 of paving, random pattern and three different sizes.

Based on the sub-base being prepared and with one mixing and moving slabs around and one laying.

I've started an estimate but just want to make sure i'm in the right sort of ballpark.

2-4 days, depending on how experienced you are.

he kind of admitted doing mainly soft so i would say a working week for the 2 of them to be safe ,maybe even 6 days

not many lads can do 50M a day,

back would be ruined

You're right, though, a good DIYer or unfamiliar contractor should probably allow a week.
