Hi people.
I haven't been able to post for a while as had server probs but i have loads of questions for this years projects,so here is the first one.
Some of you might have read an earlier post of mine where i intend to have a curved path running down my garden which links two offset steps, i was and still am unsure of what to fill middle in with (edges will be block paviours laid flat side by side and path will be 3ft wide)
My question is that if i choose marshalls haworth moor riven paving which direction do i keep the joint lines running as the path will be curved.Do i try to keep them paralell with each other all the way down path even on a corner.Any pics and advise would be much appreciated.
cheers sean.

Marshalls do a range called Dalestone it's exactly the same as Howarth Moor but it hasn't been calibrated to be all the same thickness. It's much cheaper and just as good although Marshalls sandstone tends to be a bit suspect when it comes to quality.

What way is the marshalls paving poor quality? I have a fair bit of natural sandstone paving to purchase so i want decen't stuff.
Can you reccomend any other source for natural stuff?

We laid over 2000m of their sandstone last year an each pack which contains just over 11m had easily 2m of very sh#t flags in them. Defects ranged from being totally off square by over an inch to having trip hazard ridges in them or deep depressions. You need to have a certain tolerance of defects when using natural stone but I reckon they always throw in some 2nd and 3rd's to make up the numbers. Wouldn't have used them had it not been for the builder prepurchasing it all. Don't live in England so can't recommend another supplier.

I have also been looking at some natural sandstone from brett landscaping which looks nice colour but i did see some really deeply riven ones in the pack which i don't really want.I may even consider good concrete copies.
