Cheers for looking, i am after a bit of best practice advice pls.

I am hoping to get back to the patio in the garden this weekend, it is 45m2 random layout with a circle kit in the middle.

i have a plan layout, i will go along front edge and one side to get all levels right.

My main question is that when i get to the circle, am i better laying it all out to get everything in the right place, then positioning the centre circle and then continue to lay out from that, or is there a better, easier way.

I will be laying on a 6:1 wet mix with it being rompox patio jointed afterwards.

Thanks again guys for the invaluable advice given.

Regards

i normally mark out the approx position of the circle using builders yellow spray, then flag around this taking care not to encroach over the yellow line
then once this has gone off i lay the circular flags in dry and carefully jiggle them about to make sure they fit
then mark all the joints with a finer spray, taking care not to mark the flags
then take the flags out and you have like a template
circle middle first then concentric rings outwards, make sure to use a line across the existing flags so there are no dips in the circle
once circle is in the fun begins
the arc shaped cuts
i normally use a 100 mm diamond blade for these as a a stihl saw cuts too straight

Cheers for that tony.

Ive cheated and gone for a 2.7m circle with squaring off kit so no cutting.

Just wasnt sure whther to to lay the two edges (front and side) of the whole area, then when i get to where the circle should be work inwards then outwards as if just laying a continuous patio.

Ill get the spray paint out then ;)

Cheers fella
