I have a quick question about a patio I am laying at quite an old property. I would like to lift the level approx 15cm against a new extension to send the water away from the extension (the DPC is at least 30cm above the existing ground level). But part of the patio butts up against part of the original house which has no DPC. At this point it will be lifted approx 10cm. The internal house ground floor level is at least 30-45cm above the new proposed level, but there is a cellar behind the ground level where I will be laying the patio. Does this matter since the existing patio is still against the cellar wall?

The wall of the new extension will be cavity construction so within reason the height of the outside ground level is irrelivent.
Unless the original house is pre 1885 it is likely to have an original DPC and even if it was built before then most properties will have had a chemical DPC at some point in time.
If the new patio abutts a wall into the cellar and it deflects the water away from the property it is unlikely to have any adverse affects on the building at all.

Yep, alsong as you have a fall away from said house wall, I'd think you'd be ok.
