G'day all,
Last year we had an Indian stone patio laid and love it, but the dry sand/cement pointing never took and most of it has flaked out.
I have read about products like Geofix and the Romex variants but they all seem pretty hung up on the 5mm width and 25mm depth rule. Now we easily have this in places but not in others as the original intention was to produce a butt jointed effect but with natural variations.
Basically we are torn between kiln dried sand (cheap but need to relace every year) and risking Geofix (more expensive but should last forever). The patio is just shy of 30m2.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
