Good morning guys,
I am planning to pave 55m2 of rear garden, theres a 350mm step between two levels.
We have had a look around the general builders merchants for types of slab and we had decided on a lightish riven type slab.
I do have a budget and would like to pay approx £20 m2.
Can you advise of reputable suppliers in the area - i ask you this tony as we are based in macclesfield so many of your suppliers may be accesible to us.
We are intending to use a 40mm sand/cement base and 10mm-15mm motar joints.
I would like a circle effect in the centre but can only find the concerete moulded slabs for this. Is there any other way?
I am quite confident having completed a block paving project on my front drive late last year but need a starting point.
Many thanks in advance
Regards

Thanks for that Tony.
I know Nab works location so will have to pop in.
Re Natrual stone - I am not to fussed either way TBH, Primarily i have a large alsation so the stone needs to be able to stand upto beaing bleached and cleaned regularly.
I am after the Riven look as it appears to give a better look, but am undecided as to exact colour / make.
My budget is approx 20/m2 which may dictate what i get.
Anything to steer clear of, or to head towards. My mind (or my missus's mind) is completely open to all suggestions at present.
The house is a 1970's dormer so we can do what we like really (within reason).
Many thanks

Cheers for that m8.
What type is in the picture? I think that is the sort of stuff we will be using. Have mortar joints not been used on these?
Are you local?

That in the picture looks like Autumn Brown with the odd bit of Raj, and the joints haven't been pointed.
