Hi

My hubby & I are just about to embark on our new garden project. Regarding the patio area I have some questions that hopefully someone can help with. I would love to have within the design a feature circle patio. I have seen some with an aztec sun design made from concrete (I assume), are these any good? I want the main patio area to match this so am looking at patio slabs made of the same material. Should we steer clear of these? How much (on average) should we be looking at per sqaure metre?

I hope someone can help.

Many thanks

the circle features are very attractive, and although more expensive and harder to install are worth it in my opinion
you can get circles in indian sandstone too.
you just need to get 3 quotes to get a feel of cost, impossible to quote anything without looking at it
hope this helps

There are some brilliant designs out there now - circles, hexagons, pentagons, you name it. They are a bit harder to get right bit look dead good if they are.

The Aztec Sun design is wet-cast concrete manufactured by Stonemarket. It is part of the Millstone range, which is a superb product, but you pay for that superbity. Prices vary throughout the country but a typical price for the Aztec Sun feature would be 230 quid (including the VAT). Millstone flags sell for roughly 35-40 quid per square metre.
