I have concrete paths around the extension of the house. Then my grandpa used cavity blocks as the boundry and the garden topsoil is filled to the top of the block.
It is a daunting task to remove all the soil as I have also got to move concrete blocks + hedging etc. I have to hand cart it out.
Is there anyway to to just pound the earth use a thin base of hardcore say 30mm screed with fine sand and lay flags.
Is it allowed to lay the flags on the concrete path bedded on sand ( just to make the path attractable)
Going to slope patio away from house and use a plant boarder to aid draining around boundry walls. ( when I fit them)
