has any of you an opinion on what looks best when putting in a recessed tray
i am laying indian sandstone
when cutting them into and around the tray is it best to cut them tight up to the edge of the tray leaving no gap to joint or to leave a gap all the way round the edge and to cut the flag inside the tray smaller so there is a pointing gap there also???

any help on what looks best will be helpful
cheers

i always aim for 10mm pointing gap inside and out, also i try and follow any pattern through the tray IYKWIM
the tray must be paved in situ but its worth greasing it as you will need to take it out at some point
hope this helps
