not sure what you used but i used "geofix" for a year and have had no end of trouble
if you read the small prin the restrictions are so nit picking that no one could do it right
how do you get 50mmm depth when some indian sandstone is only 25 mm thick????
personally i steer clear of these products because 6 month later they look like sh*t fried
point with masonry cement and soft sand

John
I have used the Rompox D1 and Rompox Easy, but have not heard of the Terrace
The Easy and D1 are very good and seem hard wearing and are very easy to use
The only problem is price ! Buti f you allow for the time saving labour on traditional pointing then it is a cheaper option

Cheers John
Look forward to the piccies
Did you say the Sandstone was on a Driveway? Personally I would be a bit aprehensive about laying it for vehicle use. I imagine you had a good base of concrete under
On the Romex web site there is no mention of Terrace - although it may need updating
I have used GeoFix in the past and I will NEVER EVER use it again as long as I have a hole in my ar**
It is the worst stuff ever.
A previous job when jointing 80m2 of Indian Sandstone when tits up. Jointed with GeoFix - looked OK then 3 months later the phone call to say it is breaking up, discolouring lifting etc. In the end I had to pay for £250 worth of Easipoint for the client to replace the GeoFix with. I still dont think the client has forgiven me for all the hours of back breaking he had replacing and re-pointing !!

you sound like the rep from geofix!!
lol
yes i know the resin is clear and the sand is whatever colour, but as it is permeable dirt runs into the small holes and discolours it.the last lot (i had to rake out and repoint at my own cost) when i dug sections out they were 40mm thick with the top 20mm being a manky brown/black colour.
the only good thing was it came out so easy,i just ran a flat head screwdriver along it
i would be interested to see the pics of the terrace

Does anyone know a Romex stockist in SE England? Preferably Kent. I'm particularly interested in Rompox Easy.

Go to page 6 and look up topic 'THE GREEN STUFF' about 14 rows down. You will see a picture of hexagonal sandstone paving with Romex Terrace utilised as a jointing product. This was carried out at our patio centre about 3 months ago. Looks a good product but like many things...is expensive. We shall probably take this into stock for next season if we are happy with how it lasts the winter etc etc. Currently the joints are still very much solid, but the sand is just starting to discolour (which is inevitable with all thses sorts of products) and we have not yet tried a pressure wash to see if it with-stands!!
