Four years ago, we had a patio laid and when the guy was pointing the slabs he sprinkled a red sand onto the patio, brushed it in and used the watering can to dampen it. It took about 24 hours to dry.
As time has gone on the joints have discoloured and bits have been lost, mostly to being pressure washed each spring.
My question is, where can I get this red sand mixture.
We cannot remember the name, even though the empty bag was lying about in the garage for ages before it was eventually thrown away.
We have asked at all the local diy stores in our area with no result.
Has anyone else heard of or used this type of compound?
Or should we just try and make our own up?
Advice please ???
