Hi, found this site and need some help. I recently bought a house that has a conservatory and cotswold stone floor. We moved in and found that the joints/pointing between the stones/slabs seemed to be just sand of sorts and has been brushed away or hoovered up- NOT good. So we're in the process of cleaning the stone/floor- Any ideas on products to use? one sugestion was bleach, hot water and elbow grease with a scrubber!
Also it will need repointing- again i'm a novice and noticed some products -Geofix jointing compound that seem a doddle to us novices as brush in and leave to set. This seems like a dream and the sort of thing i'm after. Will this do the trick. It's buff coloured so will nicely match the stone to some degree. Will i need to seal it afterwards to stop the sand going up a hoover or be brushed away?? Sorry for my lack of knowledge!

Try using the "Search" facility.

Don't know about the rest but I would steer clear of Geofix.
