Clading existing steps with sand stone paving

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

hi again
more advice please iam planning to clad an existing set of concrete steps with indian sand stone paving .what is the best method for this. i was thinking of using MFIX .WOULD THIS BE OKAY AND WHAT WOULD YOU USE ALL SUGESTIONS APRECIATED thanks

M-Fix is a thin-set adhesive. The Indian sandstone is so variable in thickness that some pieces will need 20mm or so of adhesive to hold them in place, while others will need 3mm. M-Fix is not a good idea for this sort of application.

On this type of work in the past, we've always used a Class II mortar with extra bonding additives and a really good plasticiser.
