I'm laying a new patio using either Bradstone Old Riven or Marshalls Saxon range.
Part of the patio is for a 12' diameter trampoline & enclosure to stand on and I'm unsure if these slabs will stand up to it's weight + children bouncing!
Both choices are 35mm thick slabs but saxon is a flat surface while old riven is uneven.
Would bedded on sand or mortar be best?
I do have the option of reusing the 600x900mm grey slabs the builders put down - I imagine they're tougher. But of course the finished patio will then be of 2 types of slabs (and not as beautiful).
Does anyone have experience of sharing their garden with a trampoline? Does it mark your slabs? Have you experienced slabs loosening or cracking?
If there is any doubt, I'll go for reusing the ugly grey ones.
Thanks in advance.
