please could you give me a rough idea how much labour would cost to lay ( new ) york flagstone i see you put a rough guide for indian stone at £15m2. thanks

Depends on the type and size of flagstone, but anywhere from 12-25 quid per square metre for top quality work.

Hi Sorry to jump in on this convesation, but I have a similar question. Does this quote per m2 price include the ground preparation costs (laying sub-base etc.) or is it just the costs for laying the slabs on already prepared ground. Also I have a question on driveways, do I post that here?

No - placing and preparing laying course over prepared sub-base or sub-grade, plus laying of flags, cuttings/trimming as necessary, and pointing.
