Laying stone paving

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

Hi guys,

Can you tell me what the pros and cons are with laying stone flags directly onto a concrete sub-base instead of on top of bedding

Pros: speed and economy

Cons: if you're using ready-mix, you;re working against the clock.
