Correct fall for natural paving?

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

Hi,

Very useful site. I'm laying an Indian sandstone riven patio area and can't find anything about what fall to use.

I've got two curved walls with stairs between and I want to slope away from these as there is no drainage in them. The paved area is only 12m2

Is 1:60 about right or too much?. I suspect water will always pool on them because of the irregular finish and i just need a slight slope to take off any really heavy rain.

Any way, thanks in advance,

Ben

As it says on the main website, 1:60 is about right for lightly riven flags.

OK, thanks Tony. I did look several times but didn't see it.

It's done now anyway. I used 1:50 in the end as it took me a bit closer to my ideal finished level.

I was going to ask for tips on mortar dye but i'll check the site first.
