I have recently had some slate flgs 900mm x 1200mm in a kitchen area and whilst the bed was solid some of the flags have started to rock very slightly (1mm movement in corner. The flags are pointed in and polished and I do not want to get them up and re-lay them but the clicking sound when I walk over some of the flags is driving me up the wall. As there was no evidence of this when they were laid I have already paid the builder and can imagine the response I will get if I now tell him there is a problem.
My current thought is to drill in between the flags (near problem areas and inject a 'runny mortar mix' - Is this likely to work? Does anyone have a better idea?
