I have an Indian Stone Patio - about 3 years old. Once or twice a year, I give it a good jet wash to remove all the usual grime and moss. It never ceases to amaze me just how dirty it gets. It's like having a brand new patio when I've finished.

However, I have noticed a rash of black spots over much of the patio which the jet wash fails to remove. Even having the nozzle half an inch from the spot has no effect on them. The spots themselves are no bigger than 1 cm in diameter, but there are lots of them.

I have also tried Thompsons Patio & Paving cleaner, which claims to kill & protect against fungal growth, but to absolutely no effect.

I fear that the problem will get worse until the whole patio has disappeared under this black growth.

I desperately need your help to eradiate this algae/fungus and return my patio to its former glory.

What products can be used to do the job.

Cheers

Paul

Have you tried Jeyes Fluid?
