Slopping flags

Patio flagstones (slabs), concrete flags, stone flags including yorkstone and imported flagstones.

Hi
This is in deed a great site .
My question is how do you set up the base for a patio that slopes in two directions. I tried bending the flag but that would not work. :)

Do I need two string lines?

Are the two directions opposite or perpendicular?

Two string lines would be good - 4 would be better. Think about it! ;)
