Thanks for your advice in realtion to the grouting. The paving suppliers really don't have a clue and recommend geofix irrespective of its suitability.
I have another question and I hope that you might help. I've set my sandstone slabs on a 100+mm cement bed over a compacted 50-100mm sub-base of harcore/gravel/sand.
1. Some of the smaller slabs are wobbling, what can I do? (I know that you advise re-setting in some previous advice but I'm unsure whether this applied to slabs laid directly into a cement base)
2. Is this bedding sufficient for parking a car??
