Hi I’ve thoroughly looked through the website before asking this question (I note you don’t suffer fools lightly… good for you) I have a canopy umbrella stand, which is a cross bar the legs being approximately 35mm wide. I want to lay it in to a new imported fossil grey sandstone patio. This is making me consider leaving a 25mm to 35mm joint for an overall uniformed look. I note from the main site this acceptable if using a loose jointing material, my question is would a mortar joint be practical.
Can I add from someone who works within the IT industry, your website is one of the most enjoyable I have visited!!!!!! Good interesting information well presented and laid out. It’s a credit to you and common sense thinking!!!!! (Not sure about the zoom in when navigating)
