Hi,

I have a simple need to cost some work for advanced planning and budgeting purposes. Can anyone tell me ball-park (range from lowest to highest will do) per metre prices for all inclusive (time and materials and VAT) decking versus paving?

I realise that it's not that simple but I assume that quantity surveyors use such guidelines for example and that's all I need. The materials I would use would be at the higher levels of cost e.g. hardwood decking or near top quality stone flags.

Many thanks in anticipation.

Kind Regards

paul

Typical costings for various types of paving can be found near the bottom of the main pages dealing with each type of paving on the main website. So: if the "paving" you wish to compare is, say, block paving, then look up the costing table at the base of the block paving page: if it's stone flags, then look at the stone flags page.

The page that deals with decking does not include costings because the feedback I received was so variable, I could have written that typical priced range from 3-300 quid per square metre, which is pretty meaningless as far as I'm concerned.
