Does anyone have any advice on creating a tile on edge mosaic? I am currently unsure as to what jointing bedding material to use. Should I go wet or dry? The area is a circle on 560mm in diameter.
If this is outdoors, use a high strength mortar, mixed as stiff as possible. You might want to consider using a proprietary bedding/jointing material to maintain colour consistency.
Plan in advance. Create your design on paper, then lay it out on dry sand to check the pieces fit without leaving execssively wide joints, and then plan your laying, deciding where to start and how to progress.
