Hello can anyone answer me a daft question relating to the Flag on Edge section on this website.
This seems an ideal solution to a problem in my garden.I wish to use this idea to raise a flower bed in my garden to about 300mm as the area suffers from a high water table and floods alot in heavy rain.
My daft question is......on the diagram,the blue section is a concete footing,but behind the flag the concrete is higher than the front,so how do you keep the higher level in place before you put the flag in?????? I know I'm probably being stupid,but please humour me with the answer

You lay the bedding concrete first, then the flag(s)-on-edge, using bricks or owt else to hold it/them in position, and then add the haunching concrete.

I admit it's not as clear as it might be, so I'll see if I can get some photo's done showing the procedure in step-by-step detail.

OK - if anyone in northwest Engerland has a job using flags-on-edge on the near future, and you wouldn't mind me taking a few photies, just let me know.
