Ready Mix

Hi i hope you can help me I am looking to put down a cement patio and dont know how many bags of Ready Mix I will need, the area is 12' X 15'( approx 4" thick). i used the calculators here and came up with approx 1.6m3 but that seemed low to me. any help would be great. thanks

Bags of Ready Mix? You've lost me - Ready Mix isn't sold in bags, unless you mean the pre-mixed over-priced stuff from the DIY sheds.

12' = 3.65m and 15' = 4.57m so total area = 16.7m² and therefore, at 100mm thick, you'd need 1.7 (ish) m³

Just how many of these silly bags that equates to, I don't know, as I'm not sure how much material is in each bag.
