HI GUYS I'M NEW HERE BUT HAVE BEEN USING THIS SITE FOR BITS OF INFO ON DOING MY DRIVE AND I MUST THIS SITE HAS BEEN A HUGE HELP.JUST A QUICK QUESTION THOUGH.
IM USING 150MM FLAT TOP EDGING ROUND THE THREE EDGES OF MY DRIVE (BOTH SIDES AND AGAINST THE PATH THAT RUNS ALONT THE FRONT OF THE HOUSE) AND AS THEY ARE ALL GOING BUT UP AGAINST SOLID SERFACES WITH NOTHING COMING PROUD OF THE FINISHED PRODUCT DO I NEED TO CONCRETE THEM.(THEY ARE GOING UP AGAINST TWO PATHS AND RAISED SOIL GROUND).I WILL BE COMING 100MM UP THE INNER FACE WITH TYPE1 BASE.ANY HELP IS APPRECIATED.

I can't figure out why you're using flat-tops against the walls, unless it's the look you like, but even so; laying them on a concrete bed, even if it's just 30-50mm, will be much easier than plonking them on soil or sub-base material.

If there is a solid wall behind them, ther's no need to haunch, obviously, but if it's just soil or anything else that is not rock-hard and immovable, then they really ought to be haunched in place to prevent them moving once the paving is complete.

Sorry about the caps,im on a work computer and its always on.
They are'nt going up against a wall but a path that runs alongside the wall (orkward to explain without seeing it) but your the man in know and if you say a little concrete will do the trick i'll give it whirl.
