Hi guys

Great site plenty of tips. Having just laid reclaimed setts all round and patio for a client, I'm having probs getting a half decent black mortar.

Am using cementone at the moment at twice the reccomended dosage and still it dries grey. Currently on a 3:1 mix, am I wrong in using red sand, maybe yellow and a weaker mix as the cement maybe lightening it up.

Had tarmac mix some black sand 6:1 sand:lime and thats even lighter! I have no problem colour matching for brick repairs etc, but they're red thus an easier colour.

Any advice in achieving a black colour would be much appreciated, thanks :)

Hi

we supply 25kg bags of black mortar - all you need to add is water.

The mortar is designed to pump through a skeleton gun which makes it easier to apply and you shouldn't get any staining!

For more info our website is www.easipoint.co.uk or call 01257 224901

Cheers

Sue

Sue

I had a visit and demonstration from Leon this week

Very impressed with your product.

The main plus points are - You get a consistent colour, ease of use, variety of colours, speed and the price doesnt seem bad either !!! Although the delivery costs will be a pain

I will certainly be pricing for future patios using your product and I hope to be placing orders soon.
