When calculating concrete volumes using the calculators the result ends up in Kg. This is fine except that materials are ordered in bulk bags (1 ton in old money or about .5 cubic metre). What's the best way to convert Kg's into a bulk bag quantity, or is it ok to use the concrete volume?

The Agg Bags are alleged to contain 1000kg or 1 Tonne, but you should check this with the supplier, as some sell the bags as a measure of volume, ie, you buy a 'bag' regardless of volume or weight.

The calculators give the answers in Kg because that is the way the trade works. One of my kilograms is the same as one of your kilograms and the same as one of, say, Builder Centre's kilograms, whereas one of my 'bags' might be more or less than one of their 'bags'. :)
