We've just moved into a new house with a fair amount of concrete surrounding it. Its relatively sound, but isn't very pretty.

I plan on taking it up and laying flags, but that isn't happening for a couple of years

Any suggestions on how to smarten it up until I get around to replacing it ? Maybe fix the cracks and paint it ?

Or should I just put up with it for now

You're at 150mm below DPC, so no opportunity to do an overlay other than resin-bonded - https://www.pavingexpert.com/resin02

It's never really feasible to 'hide' cracks such as those. You can fill them and paint the surface with, say, garagfe floor paint (usually only available in a very fetching "Tile Red") but they inevitably re-emerge.

At some point, you *will* have to bite the bullet and break it all out!

Thanks for the replies, I think I'll stick a few plant pots on it until I get time to pull it up.
