Hi Tony,
You may remember me, from a week ago I posted a question regarding Indian sandstone going down over a concrete footpath and then onto a subase type A, while using a full mortar bed.
Thank you for your helpful reply.
However, my wife, using the 'small print' clause on our marraige certificate, has used her perogative, and 'changed her mind!!!!'
My wife now wants us to use 6inch by 6inch, half inch thick terracotta tiles, (which do look beautiful I admit, begrudgingly)
to compliment our 'italian look'
So I have my excavation work done, subase material in a stockpile, and I am now small bit confused. I researched your invaluable archive and you recommend full mortar bed laid on concrete.
So can you suggest what do?
Could you recommend mortar mixes etc for use with terracotta tiles and also what can I do with my subase material etc.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this long winded effort at a question!
Kind regards,
Patrick
