Hi,
Looking into a new driveway and read conflicting theories with a lean mix or geotex/type1
South east seem to be installing more often than not a lean mix as it’s clay.
On clay soil is it a no go for type1 and then a lean mix with granite chippings on top for a laying course of concrete block pave?
Some well respected companies use this method
Is it a lot shorter life span with lean mix rather than geotex, type1 and laying course?
