Hi
I'm doing a side extension at my house and due to various reasons we have had to go with a raft foundation rather than a standard trench.
We have a boot beam design steel reinforcement cages around the perimeter which I have someone working on.
I need to get some shuttering done to house the boot beam. I have a joiner who is happy to do this. Are there any specifically important things he needs to know about the design of the shuttering for a boot beam in particular. Obviously we have one hit at this with a raft pour so need to get the shuttering right.
Anyone have a design for this type of shuttering I can show him with help to simplify things.
Thanks for any help.
