Hi all
doing a fair bit of emergency pavement repairs for the local authority
sadly this generally involves the bete noir of the paving game, the 3 by 2 PCC
was thinking of getting a 2 man vacuum lifter as its a matter of time before somebodys back goes or a finger gets trapped
so has anybody used them?
and are they any good?
can they be used on injun stone?

cheers LLL

Yes they are good. I brought an al vac one that you can hang from the digger, as I had a huge number of 3 x 2 slabs to lay and it was a real back saver.
Prior to this, I hired the two man one from hss. Again it was invaluable. It works on Indian stone providing they are not too riven although I did discover it worked best if you wet the slab surface first

I hired a probst one for a day ,best £25 ever spent
just being able to lift and move 2-3 mm was great
not sure how long the battery lasts but a great tool
