Grey Sandstone slabs

Post: # 119711Post Johnd1881

Hi,
I have a patio of light grey sandstone slabs. When they went down they looked amazing but I've found out over time they mark/stain really easily even after 2 coats of EasySeal protector. I would like to darken then but the companies I've spoke to give me the same answer, their products aren't suitable for light grey slabs. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

The biggest problem you face is that you've already daubd the paving with a basic sealant, and that will prevent any other sealant/color enhancer having the desired effect you seek.

So: you would have to strip off the jollop you've put on previously, get the paving thoroughly cleaned, allow it to dry completely, and then apply a suitable colour darkening sealant.
