not sure but it seems the hs1100 doesn't mod to auger or breaker attachments so it'll have to be the 1150 but the 1150 doesn't come as a deisel option grrrrr

Both, auger and breaker attachment would be ultra useful to have as an option. Both equally as useful for obvious reasons...

Dammit

So stressful. This thing costs more than my van...

Nor I. The 2 man is better than the 1 man. 1 man one is close to useless and 2 man 1 not much better and can so rarerly get to use it in a garden it's pointless.

This one should be a lot more powerful.

My dumper arrived last thursday. Had a little play around with it today. Quicker than I expected. Was expecting it to be slow but it isn't.

I drove it up the ramps onto the back of my truck today also. Pinned the ramps obviously. Drilled 2 holes in the bed and dropped a couple of coach bolts in. Quite hairy I must say. I raised the bed to make the angles even between the ramps and the bed. I don't think I'd like going down off the truck without doing that as it hangs over before it drops lol.

Got the Hinowa HS1100 with widening tracks hi tip and self loading shovel. Deisel Yanhmar engine too. Thought bugger it, I'll have it for a long time. Wish I had it a few years back.

Timing is perfect cos I've got a dodgy shoulder at the moment with an unnerving boney lump on it. Waiting on xray next month to see what's wrong with it cos it just wont heal.

Two lads with a barrow each. Cheaper and faster.

Unless you will be using a mini dumper on an almost daily basis, why not hire?
At least hire any potential candidates first or have a demo from the manufacturer/supplier.

Well I reckon 2 lads with a barrow each are slower as it'll take 1.1 tons theoretically but in reality half a ton of dry dirt at a time which can be loaded in the same time one guy can load a barrow. I would imagine 2-3 lads it would take.

Also, I'm going to hire it with an operator.

If I had bought my stump grinder 3 years ago instead of last year it would have paid for itself x10 over by now whilst enabling me to quote more competitively. I see this as no different.

My intention is to use my new labourer efficiently without breaking him whilst I look for another decent labourer.

I'm happy at this stage. Customer service was exceptional and apart from Digdugdan I've read really good reviews on the hinowa.

is the minimum width 758mm wide ?

Mick honestly I don't know. I had a bit of a panic earlier cos the self loading shovel is it's widest point but when going through a 90cm gate I had a little over an inch each side of the shovel. I would say it's wider than 758mm though.

Oh my...

Just moved multiple tons around today and didn't break a sweat. Was able to quote competitively for what would otherwise be an annoying and labour intensive job and earn't decent money and finished early.

Love it. Absolutely love it :)

That version is 860wide, may not get in all access gates,, but better than nothing!
