not a machine man myself but looks luvverly
brand spanker?
not conversant with the technical terms but the cab looks compact so you can dig in tight spots? IIRC the takeuchi 3T sticks out the back a bit more

very nice Mark

Is that the zero tail swing model?
Did that thumb fit ok?
I keep thinking about buying the 2.6 tonne kubota, as its biggest I can tow legally, but at £22,000, I couldnt justify it.

its almost zero, the extra counter weight hangs over 120mm,i got the long dipper and extra counter weight ,the thumb took 2 hours to fit from old machine, we had to cut the spacers down 20mm each side where it fits to bucket, then the top hanger had to trim 5mm each side of the hanger, it was 30mm hole and ram was 35mm so i had to buy a 35 to 30mm bush to make it tight, if i did not have counter weight it would be in the 2.6 t weight but as it is now its 200kg over
mine was just over 23k+vat MSH :)

Thats a good price with all those extras.
I think the kubota came with four buckets, but no quick hitch!

And get covered in grease at the same time!
the number of hire machines I see with no quick hitch, and some numpty using a sledgehammer to drive the pins home!
I even have one on my k008! Wouldnt go back to doing it the other way

Been looking for a manual quick hitch for mine was looking at a semi hitch but still leaves you with the issue of a pin being removed covered in crap then some numpty putting it straight back in with bits of stone/dirt still on it.

Got a manual quick hitch. Each bucket has a dummy pin on, which I bolted in to avoid losing lynch pins, then you just pull one pin out. Its not greased so easy to change.
digbits sell them

The ones I have been looking at are different pin centres to my buckets so would looks like will be welding the dummy pins

I had the same trouble. Mine were 85mm instead of the standrd 90mm. Digbits made a hitch to suit. It was no extra cost!!

looking good mark, and ive heard they have improved the paint on the bobcats we had an E16 and the paint just peeled of in big sheets

id say on 3 ton + quick hitch is a must as the bucket are too heavy to man handle but on a micro your loosing a lot of breakout force with a quick hitch but then again your not really doing serious digging with a micro so its a trade off

having full hydrauolic hitch it does make you use the right bucket for the job though rather than using the wrong one as its out the cab to change etc
