Right lads

What string lines do you lot tend to favour? Or do you just use whatever generic crap you can find?

It bugs me that I used to have a couple of biggish bundles of decent line, that had a tiny bit of stretch, and was good quality. Now I can just find sub standard rubbish.

Do you have have a favoured brand you normally go for?

I use just an ordinary brickies string line. You need something you can have a good tug on ( no pun intended) :;):

Speedcrete sell a very good line, it pulss and stays tight very hard wearing in a500m I just wind s 30m bit off at a time, MSH

I have recently started using old fly reels for string lines, they are a god send and keep lines from getting twisted as you wind them up. Also it only takes a few seconds and when you set the drag on the reel it will just hang there providing a nice weight on the end.
