My mate Runs a big laser controlled mastenbroek for sports field drainage also get smaller tractor mounted ones.

The digger mounted chain trenches are ok in good ground for cables but not much cop in Stoney or hard ground

Not really top cutter takes the top 50mm off ie the grass generally 2m wide with a conveyor belt to fill trailer etc.

I would of thought you could be 120% certain there are no gas, water, electric or cable TV buried just below the surface in the middle of a farmers field Dave
