Setts and cobbles, tarmac, asphalt, resin systems, concrete whether it's plain, patterned or stencilled, gravels, etc.

Hi..

I noticed on one page tony recommends a 3:6:1 mix for bedding setts.. will a 10:1 sand cement mix be just as suitable for light use?

And if so, can i use it for the edge course too?

Six coarse aggregate (gravel) plus three fine aggregate (sand) = nine aggregate in total to one of cement.

Ten of "aggregate" (usually a coarse sand) to one of cement really isn't that much different in terms of mix strength.
